Register CryptoBuster License
 
If you have already purchased a license code for CryptoBuster, you will have to register the software using this code before you can use CryptoBuster. In the Register CryptoBuster License dialog, enter your username in the Name field, your email address in the Email field, and the 24 characters code in the License Key field and click the Register button.

A working Internet connection is required to verify your license information and download the license to your computer.

You can use Paste from Clipboard buttons to get your license details from the clipboard to avoid typos.
 
If license registration is completed successfully, a message box will show up to inform you that CryptoBuster was successfully activated, and by clicking the OK button CryptoBuster will restart.

If you have purchased a CryptoBuster license and you did not receive or lost the license code, click the I lost my license code link and we will help you restore it.
 

 
Common Issues:
 
License revoked or not activated.
The license has been deactivated because of a refund or upon user request. In the case of a trial license, it may indicate that the user hasn't confirmed his account yet.
 
Your computer is disconnected from the Internet.
Please make sure you have an active Internet connection, and your firewall does not block connections between CryptoBuster and the licensing server.
 
Your CryptoBuster updates subscription has expired.
Your license subscription has ended, and you are not eligible to use this version of CryptoBuster; please renew your license subscription to use this version of CryptoBuster.
 
Your CryptoBuster trial has ended.
Your 30-day CryptoBuster trial license has ended; you will need to purchase a new CryptoBuster license to continue to use the software.
 
Licensing server encountered an internal error.
The CryptoBuster licensing server is experiencing issues; please try to activate the software at a later time. If the issue is remained please contact Smart PC Utilities support.
 
License code does not match this computer.
This error may be caused by running CryptoBuster on a computer other than the one used to register and activate the software for the first time. If you want to use CryptoBuster on more than one device, purchase additional licenses for a discount price. If you want to transfer your license to a new computer, use the Transfer License form.
 
Unable to load CryptoBuster license.
This error may be due to:
  • Hardware changes like upgrading the CPU, hard disk, or the graphics card. Use this form to reset the device ID associated with your license.
  • Running CryptoBuster on a computer other than the one used to register and activate the software for the first time.
  • Corrupted software files, in that case reinstalling CryptoBuster may fix this issue.
 
Invalid email address.
You have entered an invalid email address; please enter a valid email address.
 
Invalid license code.
Please make sure you enter a valid CryptoBuster license code. You can copy & paste your license key to avoid typos.
 
Invalid license username.
Please make sure you enter the username you used to activate the CryptoBuster license for the first time. Use this form to recover your license username.
 
Invalid license signature.
This error may be due to:
  • The Licensing server is experiencing issues.
  • The license file cached on your computer is corrupted; please reactivate your CryptoBuster license.
 
Invalid system date and time settings.
Please make sure your system date and time settings are configured properly. It's recommended to enable Windows to synchronize your system date and time settings with an Internet time server.
 
Unable to generate a unique ID for your computer.
CryptoBuster could not generate a unique ID of your computer to associate with your license; please make sure you are running CryptoBuster with administrative privileges, and no anti-virus is interfering with the software.
 
Unable to connect to the CryptoBuster licensing server.
Please make sure you have an active Internet connection, and your firewall is not blocking connections between CryptoBuster and the licensing server.
 
Invalid software signature.
This may be due to corrupted software files or anti-virus software interfering with CryptoBuster.
 
Unable to write license file to the local disk.
Please make sure you are running CryptoBuster with administrative privileges and no anti-virus is interfering with the software.
 
The entered email address does not match the email address associated with this license.
Please enter the email address you used to register and activate your CryptoBuster license for the first time.
